Allison Baylis, DMD

Dr. Allison Baylis grew up in West Haven where she played girl's ice hockey and was in the marching band.  Dr. Baylis graduated with an Honors Degree in Physiology and Neurobiology and a minor in Women's Studies from the University of Connecticut.  She went on to study at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA where she earned her degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Baylis returned to Connecticut to complete her General Practice Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford where she continued her education with a focus on restorative, endodontic, periodontic and surgical procedures. She also has a great love for treating children and special needs patients.  When not in the office, Dr. Baylis enjoys watching hockey, cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with her husband, Elliott and two beautiful children, Nathan and Madelyn.

Lawrence Messina, DDS

Dr. Messina has officially retired in July 2022. He started this practice back in 1977. We are always excited when he stops by for a visit! You might occasionally see him covering for Dr. Baylis when we let her sneak off for a vacation with her family.

Patty - Insurance Coordinator

Patty is a staple at our front desk!  Patty lives in West Haven with her husband and has 2 grown daughters.  She loves to travel and is always extra happy to celebrate St Patrick's Day!!

Kayla - Lead Dental Assistant

Kayla is a valuable member of our team and is from West Haven.  She graduated from Porter and Chester Dental Assisting School. She did her externship with our office and just had to stay!!  She is a big animal lover especially her own dog and cat at home.

Lisa - Hygienist

LIsa has been a licensed dental hygienist and worked in the practice for over 30 years.  She has loved working and raising her family in West Haven.  Lisa has a very loyal following and has a special connection to all of her patients.

Michele - Hygienist

Michele has been a licensed dental hygienist for over 25 years.  Before becoming a hygienist, she worked for Dr. Messina as his dental assistant for 3 years.  She attended the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport.  Michele is an avid animal lover. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 grown children and 2 dogs!

Amy - Hygienist

Amy has been a licensed dental hygienist for over 20 years. We love having Amy as part of our dental team. She's lives in West Haven and has a special love for her pups!
